MAYA: Soā€¦ I think Iā€™m craving Thai food again.

DIEGO: I donā€™t know about that. I love Thai food, but you remember what happened last time, Maya.

MAYA: Diego, I appreciate and acknowledge your worries. But weā€™ve been to therapy.. I think weā€™re ready.

DIEGO: You know, I spent a whole year studying Thai cuisine.

MAYA: You know I appreciate and love your cooking. But I think maybe this one time we should probably order in. Iā€™m just worried.

DIEGO: No, Maya. I now know that flushing your meal is not an appropriate reaction to you asking for more salt.

MAYA: And I think that Iā€™ve learned that training our dog to bite you in the balls is also an overreaction.

DIEGO: I think I deserved that, after lying about my vasectomy. Therapy has really helped.

MAYA
(Smiling)
It truly has. So, a compromise?

DIEGO: Yeah. Iā€™ll cook a curry and we can order in the rice.

MAYA
(Confused)
Waitā€¦ But thatā€™s not–

DIEGO
(Smiling to himself)
Youā€™re right. And forks. We donā€™t want to use our good silverware for meals.

MAYA: Okay. Well. You know, no matter what Dr. Oā€™Malley saysā€¦

DIEGO AND MAYA
(Simultaneously, smiling.)
ā€¦This relationship ISNā€™T doomed.

MAYA
(Realizing)
ā€¦wait, what did you say about the vasectomy?
